On September, Saturday 6th, more than 80 people came to the Chiang Mai Bird Sanctuary site to help us plant 1000 trees for the birds.

The CMBS team really want to thank you everyone on behalf of the birds. Not only this plot will be planned as forest habitat and food source for the birds, these trees, which are mostly local species, will be served as the genetic reserve for the rare local tree species.

We also want to give the special thanks to K.Jiraporn Meewasana from Ministry of National Resources and Environment for the in depth forestation 101 lecture before our plantation and for guiding us to retrieve the rare tree species for this plantation. And K.Madiao" Woraphat bunkwamdee for his fun and knowledgable lecture about urban birds during our lunch. Also, the team would like to thank the 80 bird/forest lovers who came from all around Thailand to join us in preparing the "home" for the birds.

We will take care of the planted 1000 young trees well.
